Nikola Zebić, MD, PhD is a specialist in urology with more than 30 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of urological diseases. Throughout his international career, he has worked at leading urological centres in Croatia and Germany, and since 2019 he has been the Head of the Department of Urology (Chefarzt) at Landkreis Passau Gesundheitseinrichtungen Hospital in Rotthalmünster, Germany.
In his daily clinical practice, he applies an individualised approach to each patient, using the most advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods with the aim of achieving the best possible treatment outcomes.

• Endourology and minimally invasive surgery of the urinary tract.
• Laser treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia using advanced techniques (ThuLEP and HoLEP).
• Urological oncology, with a special focus on the early detection and treatment of prostate cancer.

Education and Professional Background:
Dr. Zebić graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb, where he obtained his medical degree. After completing his specialist training in urology, he began his clinical career at the Department of Urology of the Clinical Hospital Centre Osijek, gaining extensive experience in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of urological diseases.
He obtained his PhD at the Faculty of Medicine, Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, with a doctoral thesis focused on prostate cancer diagnostics. He continued his professional career and advanced training in Germany at renowned urological centres in Essen, Munich, Witten, Bad Homburg, Kulmbach and Bayreuth, where he worked as a urology specialist and senior consultant. He holds valid Croatian and German specialist licences in urology.
Scientific Contributions and Professional Achievements:
Dr. Zebić is the author and co-author of numerous scientific publications in international urological journals, with a particular focus on prostate cancer treatment and laser prostate surgery. He regularly participates as a speaker at international urological congresses and professional symposia in Croatia, Germany and Bosnia and Herzegovina, presenting results and experiences with modern laser techniques.
He continuously advances his expertise at leading European educational centres in the fields of endourology, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. He has completed numerous specialised training programmes in laparoscopic surgery, percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PNL), ureterorenoscopy (URS), laser surgery, urodynamics and robotic urology. His advanced training includes education at the renowned IRCAD centre in Strasbourg, as well as numerous professional workshops for the use of the da Vinci robotic surgical system in Germany.
He is an active member of the German Society of Urology (DGU) and the Croatian Urological Society (HUD).
