Physical therapy is an important part of treatment and rehabilitation following orthopaedic procedures, injuries, and various muscle and joint conditions. Its aim is to reduce pain, improve mobility, and enable patients to return to their everyday activities as quickly as possible.
At the International Medical Centre Priora, patients have access to modern physiotherapy treatments, therapeutic exercises, and professional supervision throughout their recovery. Particular attention is given to rehabilitation following hip and knee replacement surgery, supported by close cooperation between orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists.
Physical therapy is also available to patients who have not undergone surgery at Priora.
Every recovery follows its own course, which is why we tailor rehabilitation to each patient’s health condition, needs, and goals.
During the initial appointment, the physiotherapist assesses posture, muscles, and joints, reviews medical documentation, and, where necessary, performs additional measurements and functional tests. Based on this assessment, an individual physical therapy plan is developed and adjusted according to the patient’s progress throughout rehabilitation.
Particular attention is given to postoperative rehabilitation following hip and knee replacement surgery, supported by close cooperation between orthopaedic surgeons and physiotherapists.
Physical therapy at Priora is also available to patients who have not undergone surgery at our facility, as well as those experiencing long-term difficulties or incomplete functional recovery.
