Nenad Nešković, MD, PhD

Dr. Nenad Nešković, born in 1984 and a Croatian citizen, is an outstanding specialist in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine. He is now advancing his professional career at our hospital as an anesthesiologist.
Biography:
Dr. Nešković completed his medical studies, post-graduate studies in biomedicine and healthcare, and professional post-graduate studies in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, where he continues his scientific research. After graduating from the University of Osijek’s Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Nešković worked as an assistant at the Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience, where he began his university and scientific career. Since 2012, he has been employed at the Osijek Clinical Hospital Center, and in 2018 he passed his specialist exam in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine.
During his specialist training, Dr. Nešković completed his professional postgraduate studies and obtained a master’s degree in anesthesiology and intensive care medicine. In 2021, he completed his post-graduate studies in biomedicine and healthcare by successfully defending his doctoral dissertation, earning a Doctor of Science degree at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek. He continues his scientific career at the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek, serving as an assistant at the Department of Anesthesiology.
Achievements:
Dr. Nešković has contributed extensively to the field as an author and co-author of numerous scientific papers and chapters in textbooks and manuals. He has also been an active lecturer, participating in numerous national and international conferences.
As an instructor, he teaches advanced adult life support and polytrauma care of the European Society for Reanimation. His expertise in the field of anesthesiology and intensive care medicine is further enriched by his participation in a variety of professional courses, some of which include:
