Anesthesiology and ICU Specialist
Dr. Marina Grbić Mlinarević, born in 1988 in Osijek, graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Osijek in 2012. After completing her internship at the Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, she passed her state exam in 2013. She began her specialization in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine in 2014, completing it in 2019 with the specialist exam.
Dr. Grbić Mlinarević first gained experience in primary healthcare, working in health centers in Đakovo and Osijek. From 2014, she focused on specialization and work at the Clinical Hospital Center Osijek, where she advanced from a resident to a specialist in anesthesiology, resuscitation, and intensive care medicine. She also expanded her expertise abroad, working in SHO Anesthetics, Limerick, Ireland in 2021. From 2022 she continued her practice at CHC Osijek until joining the International Medical Center Priora in 2024.
Dr. Grbić Mlinarević is the author and co-author of several scientific and professional papers published in national and international journals, with a focus on analgesia and sedation in intensive care units as well as infectious complications in surgical patients. She actively participates in both domestic and international congresses, where she has presented her own research.
She continuously upgrades her knowledge through numerous courses and trainings, including ALS – ERC course, low-flow anesthesia, ultrasound-guided peripheral nerve blocks and regional anesthesia, and medical acupuncture.
During her student years, she served as president of the European Medical Students’ Association (EMSA Osijek) and the Student Section of the Croatian Medical Association, as well as the project leader of “Teddy Bear Hospital.” She has taken part in numerous scientific and educational events in Croatia and abroad and remains active in sports and dance.
