dr. Ivan Karlak – the path of an expert who shaped modern orthopedics
Dr. Ivan Karlak, orthopedic specialist and traumatology subspecialist, heads the Orthopedics Department at the Priora International Medical Center. Born in Našice in 1976, he graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, University of Zagreb, where he also completed postgraduate studies in orthopedics.
He began his career at the General County Hospital of Našice, after which he specialized in orthopedics at the Šalata Orthopedic Clinic and trained at the Department of Pelvic Surgery at the Sestre milosrdnice Hospital. His professional journey includes working with the most complex cases of orthopedic and trauma injuries, as well as numerous international trainings in Padua, Graz, San Francisco, Paris and Rio de Janeiro.
