Hip endoprosthesis

Hip endoprosthesis – implantation of an artificial hip for painless movement

Hip replacement surgery (artificial hip) is one of the most successful and frequently performed orthopedic procedures today. Thanks to modern minimally invasive surgical techniques and advanced, high-quality materials and endoprosthesis designs, recovery is now much faster, safer, and more comfortable than before.

On the first postoperative day, the patient can stand on the operated leg with full weight and, under the professional supervision of a physiotherapist, begins mobility and muscle strengthening exercises. Early activation and properly managed rehabilitation are key to successful recovery and long-term results.

Upon completion of the rehabilitation process, patients can return to their usual daily activities, including recreational sports – without pain and without restrictions in movement.

Modern hip replacements are made of durable and biocompatible materials, which allows them to last a long time and be stable – often 25 years or more.

When should you consider installing an artificial hip?

Hip replacement surgery is now considered a low-risk procedure, with serious complications occurring in less than one percent of cases. With an experienced surgical team and appropriate rehabilitation, patients achieve excellent functional results and a significant improvement in quality of life.

If you have been experiencing hip pain for a long time that limits your daily activities, if conservative treatment methods (medication, physical therapy, injections) no longer bring you relief, or if you notice reduced mobility and stiffness in the joint, it may be time to talk to an orthopedic specialist.

As part of orthopedics, Dr. Ivan Karlak applies modern surgical techniques and an individual approach to each patient, with the aim of restoring pain-free movement and quality of life. Early diagnosis and timely decision-making about surgery allow for faster recovery and long-lasting results.

Don’t wait for pain to become an obstacle – take the first step towards free, pain-free movement.
