World Health Day is traditionally observed on April 7 under the auspices of the World Health Organization. The date was chosen to mark the founding of the World Health Organization on 7 April 1948. This day is dedicated to global public health challenges and promoting the importance of healthy lifestyles.
Science and collaboration are at the core of this year’s theme
“Health for All: Stand Up for Science” is this year’s World Health Day theme, highlighting the importance of scientific research and collaboration in addressing current and future health challenges. Special emphasis is placed on the “One Health” concept, which recognizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, plant, and environmental health.

IMC Priora actively supports this approach through its scientific unit’s work, contributing to the development of new knowledge and the implementation of evidence-based solutions in clinical practice.
The role of IMC Priora in advancing science-based medicine
The Scientific Unit for Medical Research at IMC Priora was established to integrate academic research into everyday clinical practice. Our team consists of physicians, professors, healthcare professionals, and researchers who, alongside their daily patient care, conduct clinical trials, develop research projects, and continuously build academic infrastructure.

By marking World Health Day, we highlight the importance of relying on science, collaboration, and innovation to build a healthier and more resilient future together.
