Visit of nursing students from Osnabrück as part of the Erasmus+ program

Get in touch

As part of the Erasmus+ program, the International Medical Center Priora welcomed ten students from the Medical School Osnabrück in Germany, who visited Osijek in collaboration with the Medical School Osijek. The aim of this study visit was to gain insight into the functioning of a modern medical institution, understand healthcare organizations, and exchange knowledge and experiences in an international setting.

During their visit, the students were guided by Dr. Tomislav Kalem, Head of the Department of Urology, Uro-oncology, and Robotic Surgery. They toured the internal medicine outpatient clinics, the urology department, medical laboratory diagnostics, the inpatient ward, and the day surgery unit. They had the opportunity to observe a multidisciplinary medical team’s daily work and understand how a hospital can integrate German clinical standards within the Croatian healthcare system.

The visit concluded in a warm and informal atmosphere, with open discussion and an exchange of experiences between our team and the guests. The discussion touched on education, clinical practice, and future professional development in medicine.

We thank all participants for their interest and look forward to continued cooperation and future exchanges.
