Dr. Marko Jovanovac is a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics, as well as a subspecialist in human reproduction, with extensive experience in women’s reproductive health, gynecological endocrinology, and human reproduction. In his work, he combines modern medical methods with an individualized approach to each patient, aiming to provide the highest level of professional and compassionate care.

Marko Jovanovac, MD, is a physician with extensive experience in the fields of gynecology, obstetrics, and human reproduction. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Zagreb in 2008, after which he began his professional career at the General County Hospital in Vinkovci. In 2025, he joined the team of the International Medical Center Priora. Over the years, he has gained broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating various gynecological conditions, with a particular focus on the management of menstrual disorders, menopausal symptoms, and family planning — including the diagnosis and treatment of infertility as well as contraceptive counseling and care (contraception).
He completed his specialization in gynecology and obstetrics in 2014. He obtained a subspecialization in human reproduction in 2021, further advancing his expertise in gynecologic surgery, with a focus on minimally invasive endoscopic procedures.
Procedures such as hysteroscopy and laparoscopy represent a minimally invasive approach to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the internal female reproductive organs. This approach minimizes trauma to healthy tissue, avoids unnecessary abdominal incisions, and allows for a shorter hospital stay, faster and less painful recovery, and an earlier return to everyday activities.
He is also dedicated to the healthcare of adolescent patients, whose examinations and treatments require a specific and sensitive approach. Examinations in this age group are conducted in the presence of one or both parents to ensure a sense of safety and trust throughout the process.
Dr. Jovanovac has participated in numerous professional congresses and training programs, including the Croatian Congress on Endometriosis and postgraduate courses in gynecologic surgery and endoscopy. Through continuous education and adherence to modern medical guidelines, he contributes to the advancement of the profession and the improvement of healthcare quality.
