As part of the Erasmus+ program, the <\/span>International Medical Center Priora<\/span><\/a><\/strong> <\/a>welcomed ten students from the <\/span>Medical School Osnabr\u00fcck<\/span><\/strong> in Germany, who visited Osijek in collaboration with the <\/span>Medical School Osijek<\/span><\/strong>. The aim of this study visit was to gain insight into the functioning of a modern medical institution<\/strong>, understand healthcare organizations, and exchange knowledge<\/strong> and experiences in an international setting.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visit of nursing students from Osnabr\u00fcck to IMC Priora \u010cepin<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During their visit, the students were guided by <\/span>Dr. Tomislav Kalem<\/span><\/strong>, Head of the Department of Urology,<\/a> Uro-oncology, and Robotic Surgery<\/strong>. They toured the internal medicine<\/a> outpatient clinics, the urology department<\/strong>, medical laboratory diagnostics<\/a>, the inpatient ward,<\/strong> and the day surgery unit<\/strong>. They had the opportunity to observe a multidisciplinary medical team’s daily work and understand how a hospital can integrate German clinical standards<\/strong> within the Croatian healthcare system.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Erasmus+ study visit focused on knowledge exchange and modern healthcare practices<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The visit concluded in a warm<\/strong> and informal atmosphere<\/strong>, with open discussion and an exchange of experiences between our team and the guests. The discussion<\/strong> touched on education<\/strong>, clinical practice<\/strong>, and future professional development<\/strong> in medicine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
