November marks Movember<\/strong>, a global movement that has been raising awareness of men’s health for more than two decades, bringing together millions of people worldwide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognised by the moustaches that become a symbol of support throughout the month, Movember encourages men to talk openly about their health<\/strong>, prioritise preventive check-ups and seek medical advice in a timely manner. The initiative began in Australia in 2003.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prostate Cancer Can Be Successfully Treated<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Movember is not just for men. Women also play an important role in raising awareness<\/strong> \u2013 partners, mothers, sisters and daughters often encourage the men in their lives not to postpone medical examinations and to pay greater attention to their health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The movement focuses on three key areas: prostate cancer<\/strong><\/a>, testicular cancer, mental health and suicide prevention<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When detected early<\/strong>, prostate cancer can be successfully treated. Thanks to modern technology, both diagnostic procedures and surgical interventions have become more precise, reliable and safer, while patients benefit from faster recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Robotic Surgery and Precise Prostate Diagnostics<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The impact of modern technology on men’s health will also be the focus of an educational event at<\/strong> IMC Priora<\/strong><\/a> on 12 November, starting at 5:00 pm.The event is free and open <\/a><\/strong>to everyone interested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMC Priora was the first hospital in Croatia to perform prostate cancer surgery using the advanced da Vinci robotic system<\/a><\/strong>. During the event, our urologists will discuss da Vinci<\/strong>, as well as Mona Lisa<\/a><\/strong> \u2013 a robotic system for targeted prostate biopsies \u2013 and the Histolog Scanner<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
