The photographs were taken in May 2019 during a pilgrimage to <strong>Assisi<\/strong>, <strong>Rome<\/strong>, and <strong>Monte Cassino<\/strong>, organized by the Catholic University of Croatia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" src=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Izlozba-5-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Bijeli galerijski zid s dvoredno izlo\u017eenim uokvirenim fotografijama Vatikana: bazilika, mno\u0161tvo vjernika, vitraji i kip s aureolom.\" class=\"wp-image-10496\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201eMotiv mi je bio zabilje\u017eiti umjetni\u010dku ljepotu s kojom se hodo\u010dasnik susre\u0107e na takvom putovanju\u201c, ka\u017ee autor Kne\u017eevi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Art in a healthcare environment<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>At a time that brings us closer to<strong> Easter, a holiday of hope, renewal, and inner peace<\/strong>, these photographs go beyond mere documentation; they capture <strong>deeper experiences, emotions, and the silence<\/strong> that such places evoke within us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" src=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Izlozba-4-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"Dvoje ljudi u galeriji gledaju uokvirenu fotografiju skulpture, dok \u017eena dr\u017ei tiskani vodi\u010d izlo\u017ebe.\" class=\"wp-image-10495\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The exhibition gains additional value from being set within a hospital environment, where art takes on a new dimension, reminding us of the importance of inner strength, peace, and inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>An author bridging medicine and art<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fabijan Kne\u017eevi\u0107 <\/strong>was born in 1953 in Zagreb. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine, <strong>specialized in pathology<\/strong>, and earned a PhD. For many years, he served as the head of the Department of Pathology at the Institute for Tumors in Zagreb. He served as Head of the Department of Pathology and Cytology at University Hospital \u201cSveti Duh\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Art has always played an important role in his life. He has been engaged in painting, printmaking, and sculpture since his student days, with <strong>more than 15 solo exhibitions<\/strong> to his credit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1707\" height=\"2560\" src=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Izlozba-1-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\u017dena s repom gleda plakat na stalku u galeriji; na plakatu su umjetni\u010dki portreti i tekst \u201cGALERIJA DE PROUBA\u201d.\" class=\"wp-image-10494\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p> \u201cArt is not an escape from the demanding work of a pathologist, because I also <strong>enjoy pathology<\/strong>; <strong>good pathology and good medicine are forms of true art<\/strong>,\u201d emphasizes Kne\u017eevi\u0107.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He is a member of the Croatian Medical Chamber, the Croatian Medical Association, and the Croatian Association of Visual Artists.
