Dr. Milojkovi\u0107 completed Intuitive\u2019s technology training program, which covers the components and use of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/en\/technology\/da-vinci\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"152\">da Vinci system<\/a><\/strong>, instruments, and accessories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/en\/about-us\/our-team\/dimitrije-milojkovic-dr-med\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1650\" height=\"1275\" src=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/Multi-Port-Technology-Training-Xi-Certificate_260203_111031_page-0001.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10093\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This is also a major moment for <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/priora.eu\/en\">IMC Priora<\/a><\/strong>, adding another important chapter to the history of modern medicine in Croatia. In the future, the da Vinci robotic system will also be used in <strong>gynecologic surgeries<\/strong>, making our hospital the first in Croatia to apply this technology once again. As a reminder, the first surgeries performed in Croatia with the da Vinci system, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/en\/departments\/urology\/radical-prostatectomy-da-vinci\/\" data-type=\"treatment\" data-id=\"4304\">prostate cancer procedures<\/a><\/strong>, were carried out at Priora in <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/en\/news\/imc-priora-slavi-prvi-rodendan-mjesec-posebnih-pogodnosti-za-vas\/\">June 2024<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Less bleeding and greater precision<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Milojkovi\u0107 will perform the first da Vinci procedures under the mentorship of<strong> Dr. Bal\u00e1zs Lintner<\/strong>, a gynecologic oncologist from <strong>Semmelweis University in Budapest<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/en\/treatments\/gynecology\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2560\" height=\"1707\" src=\"https:\/\/www.priora.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/MBP67945-scaled.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-10094\"\/><\/a><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the key advantages of the da Vinci system is that during surgery, the surgeon has <strong>four robotic arms<\/strong> that fully replicate and further enhance human hand movements. Compared with laparoscopic procedures, the robotic arms offer exceptional dexterity with a range of motion of up to <strong>540 degrees<\/strong>, whereas laparoscopic instruments are more limited. In addition, da Vinci provides an extremely precise <strong>3D visualisation<\/strong> of all anatomical structures.
